to buy or not to buy?

When buying school shoes for J. don't buy

Unless of course a few weeks later

you want your daughter on the playground with her shoes like this

J. gets bangs!

The last time J. had bangs was

in 2005.

Now she has them again.

You were beautiful with bangs then and you are beautiful with bangs now!

D-Backs or Rockies?

Because my kids were great readers this summer they earned tickets to a D-backs game.

  Which game should we choose...

hmm....

For those of you who know a bit about our job/moving situtation this past several months you won't be surprised when you hear we chose the one against the Rockies. 

It was great to get out with the family for some much needed fun.

Of course the D-backs won the game but the Rockies are where we want to live. 

Which really won?  I'd like to think the rockies!
