Igloos vs Tents

J. has a great Scout Master who plans these amazing outings with the boys.
The "winter campout" consisted of making igloos, sledding...
J. and Marty decided to be some of the "brave" ones and sleep in the igloo with a few other people who got the chance (it took so long to make the two igloos that there wasn't room for everyone)

All of the other "wimps" were going to sleep in the tent with a stove so they would be nice and toasty!

As it turned out the stoves didn't work very well (I guess there were some issues regarding the wood) so they froze and the igloos were nice and warm.

Ha ha ha!

I guess it pays to be "brave"!

It did get below 0 degrees that night!
Brrrrrr

We are ALIVE! Just not this poor blog :-(

I have often thought over the past months "I need to update the blog".  I didn't realize how long it has really been.

Oh Dear!!!

So I will soon be posting snippits of the past 5 months.

I think I want to post quarterly.  That should be doable eh?

Our Angel!

(I had a picture of our wonderful Miss J. but I realized that it had our names on our stockings so for safety reasons it had to go.  Just know she was a great angel.)

Waiting for Mom and Dad to wake up so we can
get to the
STOCKINGS & TREE

Finally!

Opening "the goods"!

Of course this in no way really captures the joy and love
We are so grateful for and to know our Savior!
It is truly the best gift of all!

J. becomes a Deacon!

Ok this happend in November of last year but better to record it late than never right?

J. it is great that you have prepared yourself to become a Deacon.

A Very Merry Wii Christmas!

While there is much to blog that has happened before today and much to say about our wonderful Christmas this year, I will quickly add this cute video of our kids finding out that Grammie and Grandpa gave them a

wii!!!

They have been wanting, wishing, dreaming of getting a wii (or a different game set) for

MANY

MANY

years now.

This year they kept dreaming/guessing that they are getting a wii and we have had to carefully dispell the dream yet... they were right!

THANKS Grammie and Grandpa!
Aunts and Uncles gave us great games and we are really excited play!
Santa brought games, remotes and batteries!
How did he know?

Thank you all!

I will publish more about Christmas soon!
