TP Plant, Stars, Locking Lips & More

This past weekend we went camping again!  Yahoo!
It has been way too long since we went camping regularly. So we decided to make it fit in our schedule.
We had arrived only a few minutes earlier when I hear a delighted voice shout

 "Look a TP plant!"

What is a TP plant you might ask? I don't know the botanical name "butt" it is a great plant to help wipe one's "butt".  This is ONLY used when no real TP is available of course!

Note to self: the kids have got that lesson you don't need to teach it again!

It was a lot warmer than expected, so we enjoyed taking the rain fly off the tent and enjoying the clear bright stars as we drifted off to sleep.  I seem to forget how very many of them there are.

This pic doesn't do it justice but shows a bit of the beauty that we got to enjoy

Note to self: Fam time is easier to get while camping

You may notice in this next picture we are eating...  You are not the only one to notice. Many, Many, MANY other living things noticed too!
We had more bugs around our camp than I have ever had since moving to AZ!
The bug that seemed to like our food/camp/Marty the most was....

Bees!

Yep!  One liked Marty well enough to lock lips with him.  As he was eating one came up and landed on his lip and started sucking!  I gently shewed it away and it came back for more!  After shewing a couple times I finally went to get the camera --after all if I can't help the situation I might as well blog about it eh?
Apparently this was one camera shy bee 'cause it was gone before I could get a pic!

We look forward to our next trip but please no kissing bees!

J. gets his Webelos Patch!

J. recieved his Webelos Patch at the last pack meeting!  Yahoo J.!

You may be wondering why no one is in our Scout uniform-- we were dressed for our "Waves of Fun" water play activities!
Here are a couple pics of the fun!

So yummy!

I often show my love for my children by "eating" them.  This consists of tickling them while making loud eating noises and burying my face in their neck, tummy, ...
I was doing this with W. and our conversation when somthing like this:
"Oh you are just so yummy.  I want to eat you up UmmmNummNummmm"  "Aaahhh! "  Then W. stopped wiggling, looked straight at me and said in a serious manner
"I am not So Yummy!  I am W." (Of course he said his full name)

So that is becoming his new nick name.  We will have to see how long it lasts!
